Estate Planning 101

'The sickness or death of a loved one can be emotionally difficult, but it does not have to end in a legal tug of war.' - Nicola Robinson * * * * Nicola Rochester Robinson is the co-founder of the SR Law Group, an elder law and estate planning law firm in Douglasville, Georgia. Prior to her starting the SR Law Group, Nicola began her legal career as a trial attorney at Cozen O’Connor, a nationally ranked top 100 law firm. At Cozen, Nicola worked most notably on litigation surrounding the events of September 11, 2011. Shifting gears, Nicola left Cozen to continue representing major insurance companies throughout the state of Georgia.

In 2009, Nicola began helping friends with estate planning. A few years later, several members of her own family passed away and she saw first-hand the importance of having properly drafted wills, trust and other end-of-life decision-making documents. It was through this work that she found her true passion for helping families understand the importance of estate planning and elder law.

Nicola is a proud resident of southwest Atlanta. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and volunteering in the community.
